Chad Mowrey
Club Director
Chad is the founder and Director of the Gulf Coast Volleyball Club. He has 20+ years experience of both playing and coaching elite indoor and beach volleyball. Chad grew up playing volleyball on the sands of Manhattan Beach, California. After winning a Championship at Golden West College, Chad played beach volleyball professionally on the AVP for more than a decade. In his career he had more than 10 top ten finishes on the AVP. He went on to represent the Philippines at the Southeast Asian Games and then internationally on the FIVB. He is a ten time medalist at the U.S. Open Nationals. Chad has been coaching club, high school, college and professional teams since 2008 in California, Texas and Florida. He previously coached for SCVC winning a Gold Medal at the 2013 U.S. Open Nationals in the Boys 15's Open Division. He was formerly the Assistant Beach Volleyball Coach at Texas Christian University. He has coached numerous professional players/teams both domestically and internationally. He is married to Tiffany Mowrey. Together they have three children Eli (10) Wilson (9) and Cohlette (6). They are a Volleyball Family!

Tiffany is the Asst. Director at Gulf Coast Volleyball Club. She grew up playing sand volleyball on a court in the middle of a cow pasture in Texas. She played club volleyball in Texas and was awarded a scholarship to University of North Texas. She was in a severe accident in 2005 ending her aspirations to play beach volleyball on a professional level. While focusing on her physical therapy, she became a fitness and nutrition coach. Tiffany has coached club volleyball alongside Chad since 2009. She and Chad continue to play Co-ed Volleyball at the Open level. Together they have won countless tournaments through their years!
